"Terra di Fuoco" is a project that stems from a cultural and historical study of Bendetto Vecchio, performed ​​in collaboration with some of the most experienced Italians and foreign researchers and historians, over different years and then to find his form in music the album "Terra di Fuoco", thanks to the decisive contribution of Musicisti Basso Lazio (MBL). On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of unification of Italy (1861-2011) the Southern question and the problem of post-unit Brigandage, exploded violently in reaction to the invasion of the Kingdom of the South by the Piedmontese army, are still under of discussion and division. The brigand Domenico Fuoco was the last to fall, and he was killed in a cave, on the night between 16 and 17 August 1870, the mountains on the border between Latium, Abruzzi and Molise. History seems to repeat itself again in 1943-44 the "fire", again a "borderline" inthe same area: this time, however,it is a war of far-reaching "world": the "Gustav Line", a barrier built by Nazi Germany to block the advance of the allies in Italy, passed not far from the border of the South. "Terra di Fuoco" is placed against a major goal of the new generations: first, to perpetuate the memory of these events, the other the hope that it can learn from and build their future based on peace and mutual respect, believing that wars have always been and always will be injured for humanity.
